Product Description
A food dehydrator is a device that removes water from food through physical methods like hot air, vacuum or centrifugal force. This helps extend shelf life and makes storage/transport easier. Its main function is to reduce the water content of food (usually to below 10%), which prevents microbes from growing and enzymes from acting, while keeping the food's nutrients, flavor and shape.

Equipment composition:
The main part of a dehydrator is a stainless steel inner drum. There are small holes around the drum, and the wet materials to be dried are put inside. An electric motor drives the drum to spin fast via a belt, creating strong centrifugal force. This force throws water out through the holes, which is then collected and drained.
Generally, a dehydrator working for 2 minutes can dry wet materials as effectively as a dryer working for 20 minutes. But a dehydrator can't fully dry materials on its own. So the energy-saving way is to first dehydrate the wet materials with the dehydrator, then finish drying them with a dryer.
